The first team was called France A, which controlled by FIFA and their matches would be recorded as official matches. While the second team was France B which controlled by USFSA and their matches wouldn’t recorded.

In the same year, there was a dispute between USFSA and French Interfederal Committee (CFI), a rival of USFSA. CFI demanded that only FIFA would control the team for Olympics. The disagreement made France didn’t send any team for 1912 Summer Olympics. In 1913, USFSA disorganized and the semi-affiliated with CFI. Then in 1919, CFI transformed into Fédération Française de Football (FFF).
